We rolled out some robots as the 3 teams of FTC Power Robotics took to the road for the qualifier competitions in January, 2023. Time was oddly tight this season, so some things weren't perfect. Yet, the three robots were all more than able to compete, and some were enviously pretty. The teams were SO ready and more th
Join us for a valuable panel discussion on Women in STEM. This annual event offers a great look behind the scenes for ideas on college, clubs, and careers for all people in the STEM world. Free and open to everyone. Hosted on MS Teams app.
We have plenty of interested members. Now we just need to gather some more volunteers to help make it all happen. These students need skills training, both in teamwork and business practices and in STEM and shop skills. So, whatever skills you have, we can use you! We guarantee it will make you feel great to work with these students and SEE the difference you make. Contact us TODAY!
Come find out more about FTC Robotics and see what we'll be building this year. All interested students (and mentors) are welcome to join.
Each year's challenge is different.
New themes, rules, parts, goals, point-scoring opportunities, and more.
This year's Power Play offers a complex field requiring fine navigation and lots of point options.
You can brainstorm ideas and you can build robots.
Or you can code with Java, or use graphic design or video skills to market your team (and impress judges at competitions).
There are awards for all types of things!
There are lots of friends to meet, things to learn, and skills to tackle.
-And parents, there's lots of scholarships available also.
The entire FIRST program is known worldwide for being a great first step into the world of technology, teamwork, and creation.
The organization provides a great framework for adult mentors and student team members to work together to make amazing things happen.
Teams of 10-15 students work to make the machines, to program the action, and to document the progress.
Students also create meaningful Outreach Programs to help educate the community around them about all types of ideas related to STEM, engineering, technology, and other issues.
We welcome all interested students!
FTC has members from 7th-12th grade.
