A proud history, the MechHawks was the only team to be forced out of the Covid year competitions. They came back with a mighty screech!
Team Captain Armaan ran a fun and diverse group of veterans and newbies alike. They did a great outreach at the elementary school and one at the local library. The Mech Hawks were a hard-working team this year and won an award for it too.
Yes, Bow (22/23) was a fun little fellow. A total creation from the ground up, Bow used parts that had been in storage for a long while. He was a handcrafted bot for certain. One mentor's favorite due to all of the resourcefulness used to create it. Not a great winner, but this team was dedicated!
The 2021-2022 team inspired us by how well they all worked together. Team Captain Kamya did an amazing job leading her group to the Regional Championships and inspiring everyone to keep reaching!
Todd's main feature is the wheel feeder system, its uses two intake wheels to create a vacuum-like effect. Todd was a great robot and we'll all miss him so.

Come have fun with us during the competition season, or anytime. We get our yearly challenge in early September, then design, build, and have crazy fun thru competition time in Dec-Jan. Then back to regroup, community projects, and trainings for the spring.
